Jak Crawford is one of the brightest talents to emerge from the United States in recent years, and alongside fellow Red Bull Junior Driver, Isack Hadjar, forms Hitech GP’s driver line-up for the 2023 FIA Formula 2 Championship.
The 17-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina graduated into single seaters in 2018 and made an immediate impact. After finishing runner-up in F4 NACAM at the first attempt, Crawford then dovetailed time in the USF2000 National Championship back home with a dual Italian and German F4 campaign in Europe, finishing as vice-champion in the latter.
The following year marked a full-time move to Europe, and Crawford would star further in Euroformula Open, the Formula Regional Asian Championship and two seasons of FIA Formula 3, before receiving the call up to Hitech Pulse Eight’s F2 team. A proven race winner, Crawford is sure to be in the mix once again in 2023.
